  • Is a Midwife for you?

    Come experience the difference. Midwives understand that this is your body and your baby. Our goal is to provide to you complete care in an atmosphere that encourages client participation. You will receive the same exams and tests offered by a  traditional doctor. In addition you will receive support through this life changing time in your life, and we will support you through your labor!

  • Insurance

     

    Bay Area Midwifery accepts most insurance carriers. In addition we are a provider for The Maryland Medicaid Program, and offers services to uninsured clients. Many insurance carriers will cover the cost of your birth in our Freestanding Birth Center in full. Have a question about your insurance coverage?
